Ammy Virk born with the name Amninderpal Singh Virk and he happens to be a singer, actor, and filmmaker. He has his own production house called Villagers Film Studio apart from his own film distribution company called In House Group. He was born in Nabha, Punjab on 11th May 1992 and he did his schooling from Punjab and later on went to complete his Master of Science in Biotechnology from Punjab University. However, he was always interested in singing and seeing his interest in this field, his mother asked him to try his luck in this field that made him enter into this field.

He started his singing career as a solo singer and his songs like Jatt Da Sahara and Yaar Amli turned popular in Punjabi music bringing out global recognition. He then got his first album called Jattizm in the year 2013 that bagged the Best Album of the Year award by the PTC Music Awards. His next popular song was Qismat, which was released in the year 2017. Some of his recent songs include Hath Chumme, Double Cross, Background and Wang Da Naap to name a few.

Talking about his acting career, he did play the role of Hakam in the super hit Punjabi film Angrej opposite Amrinder Gill in the year 2015 where he bagged the best debut actor award at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards. He then did a number of other movies, which include Ardaas, Bambukat, Laung Laachi, Qismat, and Nikka Zaildar to name a few. Now, he is making his debut in B Town with the Kabir Khan directed film 83, which will be releasing in 2020. The film has Ranveer Singh who is playing Kapil Dev in it. He will be playing the role of Balwinder Sandhu in it.
