Shishir Sharma is a TV and film actor who hails from Mumbai where he was born on 10th January. He was born and brought up in Bombay. He did his schooling from Rishi Valley School and then did his studies in Management from Narse Monje Institute of Management Mumbai doing his MBA after his B.Com from Mumbai University. He then headed to Delhi to get enrolled in National School of Drama as he wanted to be an actor. He started his career in acting from the TV show called Swabhimaan aired in 1995 to 1997 at Doordarshan playing the role called KD.
He then was seen in the Zee TV based show called Aashirwad in 1998 – 99 and since then it was no looking back for the actor. Some of his earlier TV shows include Waaris, Kanyadaan, Achanak 37 Saal Baad, Kumkum – Pyara Sa Bandhan, Aandhi, Prratima, Koie Jane Na, Saathiya – Pyar Ka Naya Ehsaas, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann, Sangam and Jaane Kya Baat Hui to name a few. Some of his recent TV shows include Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, The Buddy Project, Shastri Sisters, Mohi and Love Ka Hai Intezaar.
His debut in film started with the film Bombay Boys playing the role of ACP Mumbai City in 1996. He then was seen in Om Jai Jagdish in 2002 as company CEO followed by others like Fanaa, Love Story 2050, Jalsa, Blue Oranges, Kurbaan, Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, Premsutra, Gandhi of the Month, Manjunath, Mary Kom, Tanu Weds Manu: Returns, Talvar, Dangal, Chhoti Si Guzaarish, Raazi, Bucket List, Shinaakht, Uri: The Surgical Strike, 72 Hours: Martyr Who Never Died, Jersey, Bombay Rose and the recent one called Chhichhore.
He has also worked with a few web series including Permanent Roommates Brijmohan Nagpal, Rise, What the Folks-season2 and What’s your status. Talking about his personal life, he is married and has two kids – a daughter and son. He also worked in a short film called Chhoti Si Guzaarish.
