Sunny Kaushal is an actor who hails from Delhi. He was born on 1989 and is a brother of popular actor Vicky Kaushal and the son of action director Sham Kaushal. He did his schooling from Delhi and later headed to Mumbai to pursue his studies for CA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. However, he left the course in between to pursue acting as his career. He soon started working as an assistant director for various films like My Friend Pinto and Gunday in 2011 and 2014 respectively. Once he headed to make his career in the field of acting he got the film called Sunshine Music Tours and Travels in 2016.
However, the film was a big flop and he then got a short film called Love, at First Sight, the next year getting the role called Kshitij. He then got the chance to work with Akshay Kumar in his film Gold where he played the character called Himmat Singh the hockey player. He then was seen in a short film known as The Embrace playing the character called Siddharth. He is now the part of the film Bhangra Paa Le as a lead actor with Naila Grewal. The film was released in Jan 2020.
Currently, he is working in two films Hurdang playing Daddu Thakur and the other movie called Shiddat playing the character called Khamid. Besides, he has been part of a few web series as well. He started his debut in digital media with the series called Official Chukyagiri playing Spandan Chukya streamed at Arre in 2016. He then appeared in Official CEOgiri playing the same role for the second season streamed at the same digital media. He is now the part of the ongoing web series called The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye aired at Amazon Prime. Talking about his achievements, he has bagged the Best supporting actor at Screen Awards for the film Gold.
